Inside Salesperson
The inside salesperson will work at the company's Wappingers Falls, NY, location in support of global sales activities. Key tasks include:
- responding to incoming sales calls from potential customers
- transitioning customers smoothly to regional salespeople
- providing product information to existing and potential customers
- preparing sales quotations and working with sales administrator for accurate order entry and problem resolution
- supporting regional salespeople
- creating monthly sales reports
- contacting leads generated by sales team at trade shows or by web site
- distributing trade show leads to regional salespeople
- entering data into customer contact or sales databases
This position requires a 2-year associate's degree in a scientific or engineering field and a strong interest in sales of technical products. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite are also required.
The position is full-time and provides a comprehensive compensation package of salary, health insurance, paid vacation and holidays.
Mechanical Engineer
The mechanical engineer will work collaboratively on a high performance, cross-disciplinary team to develop new thermoelectric based systems and enhance existing product lines. He/she will design or select components, develop CAD models, determine packaging and test procedures, write assembly and test procedures, and provide technical support to manufacturing and our customers. The role may involve occasional travel. This position may be based at either the company's Wappingers Falls or Tonawanda, NY, facilities.
Educational/Professional Experience:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and drive ideas from concept to implementation.
- A working knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably Solidworks, for design and documentation.
- Ability to analyze components and assemblies for static and fatigue strength to meet design goals.
- Ability to use Windows based PC's and standard software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visio.
- Experience in using Labview data acquisition software is a plus.

Software / Microcode Engineer
The software / microcode engineer will work collaboratively on a high performance, cross-disciplinary team to develop new thermoelectric based systems and enhance existing product lines. He/she will design, write, compile and document C and C++ programs for real time control of the company's temperature control products running on Micro-Chip PIC microcontrollers. The software engineer will work with the sales and engineering departments to determine design requirements and manage revision level control on all programs using company's product data management (PDM) system. He/she will also provide technical assistance to customers on communication interfaces and other software related issues and work with manufacturing in automating the product test process. The role may involve occasional travel. This position may be based at either the company's Wappingers Falls or Tonawanda, NY, facilities.
Educational/Professional Experience
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in software, electrical or computer engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and drive ideas from concept to implementation.
- Experience with C, C++, microcode or other embedded software
- Experience with programming electro-mechanical equipment or writing graphical user interfaces are a plus.
- Experience with Microchip PIC microprocessors would be a big plus.
